Job summary

Convergint Technologies LLC is hiring a Security Project Technician for Data Centers, based in Cartersville. You will install, program, test, certify, and train customers on assigned projects, including smaller-scale sites. The role requires strong technical aptitude and a customer-first mindset.

You will work with engineering and project teams to ensure on-time delivery, safety, and high-quality service. This position emphasizes hands-on installation, startup, and ongoing support for security

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and able to work under pressure.
• Willing to learn fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Self-starter with supervision.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; comfortable with tools.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; able to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm and life safety systems on varied projects.
• Provide customer training and act as the primary interface for technical support.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams; use test instruments.
• Commission new systems and write routine programs; support project managers and engineers.
