Job summary

Convergint Technologies, LLC is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start up, certify, and train customers on fire, security, and building automation projects of varying complexity.

You'll collaborate with a dynamic team, mentor junior staff, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while delivering world-class service and upholding Convergint's safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Must have experience with electronic, fire life safety or building automation.
• Genetec/Lenel/Software House/Avigilon certifications or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair and service diverse security and life-safety systems.
• Lead onsite startup, certification, and customer training activities.
• Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to meet timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical support and mentor junior staff.
