Job summary

CBRE DL DIRECTLINE seeks an Assistant Project Manager to drive delivery of network infrastructure and cabling projects within a site. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule, cost, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction, while coordinating with clients and vendors.

You will develop schedules, estimates, and procurement plans, supervise on-site and office activities, and ensure contract compliance. A PMP or similar certification and leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business management, electrical engineering, construction management or similar.
• 1–3+ years of direct work experience in construction management, data centers, or structured cabling environment.
• Proven track record delivering mission critical programs on time and within budget.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Contract negotiation and administration experience is a plus.
• Experience building and leading teams.
• Experience in assessing, coaching, and mentoring direct reports and vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop the program schedule and ensure milestones are met within schedule, cost, functionality, quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
• Evaluate materials proposed for constructability and feasibility; assist with cost estimates.
• Schedule the project and budget time to deadlines.
• Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to sites.
• Coordinate with site superintendent and other partners; oversee materials and subcontractors.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions and additions; obtain permits and licenses.
• Direct and supervise team members on site and in the office.
• Review job costs, invoices, and financial reporting to customers and management.
