Job summary

Cumming Group is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Data Center Construction at a Missouri client site. The role supports PM activities, coordinating scheduling, budgets, and field operations on large-scale data center projects.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in Construction Management or related field, with 3+ years in PM, engineering, or construction management. The position requires on-site work at the Missouri site and strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Assist the project management team with constructability review and value engineering.
• Assist in formulating the design, bid, and project phase of scheduling.
• Assist in the Addenda and Bid process.
• Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct pre-bid and job start meetings.
• Monitor contract compliance and report concerns to Project Manager.
• Under supervision of Project Manager, facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
• Oversee approvals from applicable government agencies are received and documented.
• Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct close out activities and assist with building occupancy.
• Prepares field reporting for review by Project Manager.
• Perform QA/QC process.
• Review change orders for completeness and conformance to standards.
• Review RFIs/Submittals for completeness before distribution to design team.
• Provide basic CPM scheduling and budget management.
• Review and maintain As Built drawings.
