Job summary

Cumming Group is hiring an Assistant Project Manager to support a data center site project for an energy provider. You will coordinate project documentation, track status, and communicate updates to the project management team.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in project management or construction management, can read blueprints, and will assist with CPM scheduling and budget tracking. The role is full-time and based on-site with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Project Management, engineering, or construction management.
• BS in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or related field.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project management team with the energy source aspects of the project.
• Under supervision of Project Manager, conduct pre-bid and job start meetings.
• Monitor contract compliance and report concerns to Project Manager.
• Facilitate job site meetings and prepare meeting minutes under PM guidance.
• Oversee approvals from applicable government agencies and document them.
• Prepare field reports for PM review.
• Perform QA/QC processes.
• Review change orders and RFIs/Submittals for completeness.
• Provide basic CPM scheduling and budget management.
• Review and maintain As Built drawings.
