Job summary

Jacobs’ Advanced Manufacturing group seeks a proactive Preconstruction Project Manager to bridge design and construction in industrial and commercial facilities across the United States, with up to 50% travel. The role requires coordinating with design, procurement, scheduling, and construction teams to meet timelines and budgets.

You will drive constructability reviews, plan risk mitigation, and support 4-D visualization efforts, ensuring a smooth transition from early design to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent
• 5+ years experience managing construction projects
• Experience with 3D Modelling software
• Field Construction Experience on active construction projects
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of working time

Responsibilities

• Support the preconstruction team on bid package development, scheduling, estimating, and reporting
• Coordinate design constructability and sequencing plans
• Drive collaboration among stakeholders
• Develop risk registers and mitigation plans
• Develop 4-D visualizations
