Job summary

Jacobs Advanced Manufacturing group seeks a proactive Preconstruction Project Manager to bridge design and construction within budgets and schedules. You will coordinate with design, procurement, scheduling and construction teams to develop plans and mitigate risks across projects.

Travel up to 50% is required; ideal candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S. office. The role supports early design phases and a smooth transition to construction, in a hybrid/onsite setting across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or equivalent degree.
• 5+ years experience managing construction projects in industrial/commercial facilities.
• Experience with 3D Modelling software and field construction.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across North America.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction planning deliverables: bid packages, scheduling, estimating, virtual design and construction modelling, and reporting.
• Contribute to design constructability and sequencing planning.
• Lead collaboration between stakeholders to meet client expectations.
• Coordinate design, procurement and construction teams for efficient information flow.
• Develop charters with risk registers and mitigation plans.
• Support development of 4-D visualizations and site logistics plans.
