Job summary

Jacobs in the United States is seeking an energetic Plumbing Designer for our fast-moving Data Center market. You’ll design plumbing/utility packages for data center clients and prepare construction documents for DWV, potable water, and related systems.

This role requires 6+ years in plumbing design for industrial facilities, proficiency in Revit (AutoCAD preferred), and strong knowledge of codes. You’ll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure on-time, compliant designs.

Qualifications

• Experience designing plumbing systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency with CAD standards for plumbing design packages.
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of Plumbing systems.
• Development of conceptual and preliminary designs with sizing calculations and isometrics.
• Development of final construction documents for domestic water and waste/vent systems.
• Coordination with other disciplines.
