Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Plumbing Designer for its Data Center team in a role that focuses on delivering cost-effective plumbing design packages for data center clients. You will develop DWV, potable water, process drains, and domestic water systems while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project schedules and budget.

You will contribute to conceptual design, develop construction documents, and ensure adherence to CAD standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience in designing plumbing systems for industrial facilities.
• Experience generating design documents adhering to CAD standards for plumbing design packages within an A&E firm.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards related to plumbing design.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of plumbing systems for data centers.
• Develop conceptual and preliminary designs with sizing calculations, isometrics, riser diagrams, and fixture schedules.
• Prepare final construction documents for domestic water, sanitary waste/vent, and related systems.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and project teams to ensure quality and schedule.
