Job summary

Jacobs seeks an energetic Plumbing Designer for its fast-paced Data Center market. You will design plumbing/utility packages for data center clients, and prepare construction drawings for DWV, potable water, process drains, storm drains, and domestic water systems.

You’ll manage schedule and technical quality, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and work with a multi-discipline team to establish the plumbing design basis and develop final documents.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in designing plumbing systems for industrial facilities.
• Experience generating design documents adhering to CAD standards for plumbing design packages.
• Proficiency in Revit and CAD software.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to plumbing design.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of Plumbing systems for data centers.
• Development of conceptual design and preliminary documents with sizing calculations, isometrics, riser diagrams and fixture schedules.
• Development of final construction documents for domestic water, sanitary waste and vent systems.
• Coordination with other disciplines and team members.
