Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Plumbing Designer to create plumbing and utility design packages for data center clients. You will design DWV, potable water, and related systems, and prepare construction documents while coordinating with a multi-discipline team.

You will manage the schedule and technical quality of tasks, with 6+ years of relevant experience and strong CAD/RevIt skills. A hybrid work model is offered along with comprehensive health benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in plumbing systems design for industrial facilities
• Experience generating design documents following CAD standards for plumbing packages in an A&E firm
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; strong knowledge of plumbing codes and standards

Responsibilities

• Layout and design plumbing systems for data center projects
• Develop conceptual, preliminary, and final construction documents (DWV, domestic water, etc.)
• Coordinate plumbing with other engineering disciplines and team members
