Job summary

Jacobs Solutions Inc. seeks an energetic Plumbing Designer for the Data Center market.

You will design plumbing/utility systems and prepare construction package drawings (DWV, potable water, process drains, storm drains, domestic water) while managing schedule and technical quality with a multi-discipline team. The role requires 6+ years of plumbing design in industrial facilities, Proficiency in Revit (and AutoCAD preferred), and a solid understanding of relevant codes.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years’ experience in the design of plumbing systems for industrial facilities.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to design of plumbing systems.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a dynamic team environment with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of Plumbing systems.
• Development of conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, isometrics, riser diagrams, details, fixture schedules, and general arrangements.
• Development of final construction documents for domestic water, sanitary waste and vent, etc.
• Coordination with other disciplines.
