Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an energetic Plumbing Designer for our Data Center projects in Minneapolis. You will design plumbing/utility systems, prepare construction documents, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet client expectations on schedule and quality.

You’ll develop conceptual and final design packages, including DWV, potable water, and drainage systems, while maintaining CAD standards and code compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years’ experience in the design of plumbing systems for industrial facilities.
• Experience generating design documents adhering to CAD standards for plumbing design packages.
• Trade School or Associates Degree.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of codes and standards related to plumbing design.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of plumbing systems for data center facilities.
• Develop conceptual and final construction documents (DWV, potable water, drains).
• Coordinate with other disciplines and team members.
• Prepare isometrics, riser diagrams and fixture schedules.
