Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an energetic Plumbing Designer to deliver innovative plumbing design solutions for data center clients. You will design plumbing/utility packages and prepare construction drawings for DWV, potable water, and drainage systems.

Responsibilities include ensuring schedule and technical quality, coordinating with other disciplines, and delivering a well-documented set of design documents in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years’ experience in designing plumbing systems for industrial facilities.
• Experience generating design documents adhering to CAD standards for plumbing packages within an A&E firm.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to plumbing design.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of plumbing systems for data center projects.
• Develop conceptual and final construction documents, including Isometrics, Riser Diagrams, details, schedules.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and multi-discipline teams to refine the plumbing design basis.
