The role requires hands-on technical expertise, ability to travel to non-home market sites for extended periods, and strong collaboration with customers and vendors to uphold quality, safety, and high-availability standards.

Qualifications

• 3–15 years of experience in data center operations or similar technical environments with direct customer interaction.
• Strong written and verbal English for customer-facing communications and relationship building.
• Hands-on experience with connectorized fiber optic cabling (single-mode/multi-mode, LC, fan-outs, structured cabling).
• Experience with optical testing and transport troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily audits of work at customer data centers and provide feedback to technicians.
• Interact with customers via ticketing tools or in person, providing clear reports and updates.
• Assist with fiber installation, decommissioning, break/fix, remediation and migration activities across data center optical and transport environments.
• Conduct and/or supervise optical testing using power meters, light sources, VFLs, OTDRs, and test sets.
• Deliver services by interpreting and executing MoPs, engineering docs, vendor docs, and network diagrams.
• Read cut sheets and network designs to ensure correct port connections and cable management.
