Qualifications

• 3–15 years of experience in data center operations or similar technical environment with direct customer interaction.
• Strong hands-on experience with connectorized fiber optic cabling, including single-mode and multi-mode fiber, LC, fan-outs, and structured cabling.
• Ability to travel to non-home market sites up to 50% and work extended deployments.
• Interface with customers and Ericsson vendors to audit quality and ensure high standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily audits of work performed at customer data centers and co-locations and provide feedback to technicians.
• Interacts with customers via ticketing tools or in person, delivering clear reports and updates.
• Assist with fiber installation, decommissioning, break/fix, remediation and migration across data center optical/transport environments.
• Conduct and/or supervise optical testing using meters, sources, VFLs, OTDRs, and test sets.
• Deliver services by following Methods of Procedure, engineering docs, vendor docs, and network diagrams.
• Read cut sheets and network design docs to ensure proper port connections and cable management.
