Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Critical Operations Technician I to install, repair, and maintain IT, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing/piping equipment inside and around the data center. You will monitor operations, run routine checks, analyze data, and assist customers on the data center floor both in person and by phone.

You will manage tickets, escalate alerts to systems engineers, and perform hardware and software tasks in a fast-paced, 24x7 environment.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of technical training, military training, or workplace equivalency.
• Background in IT, electrical, and/or mechanical.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Applies learning, knowledge, skills, and company policies to tasks pertaining to IT, electrical and mechanical equipment, controls, and operating systems.
• Leads, maintains, monitors, and performs preventive maintenance on equipment; records readings and adjusts as needed.
• Provide remote hands and eyes services for customers.
• Provide high level computer hardware and software configuration support and install hardware per procedures.
• Installs and repairs IT, mechanical, and electrical equipment; assists team with major repairs.
