Job summary

Quality Technology Services, LLC is seeking a Critical Operations Technician I to install, repair, and maintain IT, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing/piping equipment in a 24x7 data center. This role monitors building systems, performs tests, rounds, and analyzes data to ensure proper operation, and assists customers on the Data Center floor both in person and by phone.

You will create and update tickets, escalate alerts to systems engineers, and support on-site operations with strong safety

Qualifications

• Two or more years of technical training or workplace equivalency.
• Background in IT, electrical, and/or mechanical areas.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Applies learning, knowledge, skills, and company policies to IT, electrical, mechanical equipment, controls, and operating systems.
• Leads, maintains, monitors, and performs preventive maintenance on equipment; records readings and adjusts to ensure proper operation.
• Provide remote hands and eyes services for customers.
• Provide high level computer hardware and software configuration support and install cabling and customer equipment per documentation.
• Installs and repairs IT, mechanical, and electrical equipment and assists teammates with major repairs.
• Process work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance and coordinate with supervisor for tools and parts.
