Job summary

Csquare is seeking an Operations Technician 1 to provide 24x7 data center support, performing installations, troubleshooting, monitoring, and documentation for internal and external customers.

You will work with colocation clients to isolate issues, install and test copper/fiber/coax cables, and maintain thorough ticket documentation. The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds, ladder work, and on-call/on-site shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, IT certification desired.
• Experience with copper, fiber (multi & single mode) and coaxial cable installation/testing/termination.
• Windows OS knowledge; strong communication and organization skills.
• Security clearance may be required for customer support.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, monitor, and document cabling and equipment in the data center.
• Work with colocation customers to isolate and troubleshoot issues.
• Document all work in the ticketing system for customer requests and tasks.
• Monitor critical systems using Building Monitoring System and escalate as needed.
• Assist with racking, stacking, cabling, labeling and shifting equipment, including on-call/on-site shifts.
