Job summary

Csquare is seeking a Facilities Technician 2 to support monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure in a 24/7 mission critical environment. On-call rotation and shift, evening and weekend work required.

Responsibilities include maintaining equipment per manufacturer specs, identifying root causes, performing building rounds, coordinating with contractors, monitoring BMS and SLAs, and providing timely on-site support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification in critical facilities or data center field preferred.
• 2+ years of mission critical facilities operations experience preferred.
• Ability to pass security clearance and/or background check may be required.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with multiple vendors.

Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical infrastructure per manufacturer recommendations.
• Identify and troubleshoot root causes of problems.
• Perform building rounds to ensure site integrity.
• Assist and verify customer installation activities.
• Coordinate with contractors and service providers as needed.
• Monitor building management systems to ensure operations and SLAs.
• Provide on-call support and emergency response as required.
• Work as part of a project team and respond to requests timely.
