Job summary

Equinix Miami is seeking a Data Center Customer Operations Technician IV to deliver exceptional customer service and technical support in our data centers. You will own complex requests, drive timely resolutions, and ensure delivery of critical infrastructure services.

In this role, you’ll act as a technical expert, troubleshooting complex challenges while coordinating a wide range of customer operations activities and mentoring junior team members in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in data center operations, telecommunications, networking, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Experience managing complex customer requests and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and fulfill complex, time-sensitive customer requests with a focus on quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues, incidents, and service requests.
• Execute and coordinate installations, de-installations, and modifications of Cabinets and cages, Cross-connects, Power services, Cable containment systems, Custom customer solutions.
• Deliver Smart Hands support and assist customers with equipment, connectivity, and infrastructure needs.
• Prioritize multiple requests and projects while maintaining service level commitments.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve operational and technical challenges.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to operational procedures.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced team members.
• Lead or facilitate operational activities and support initiatives that improve customer experience and service delivery.
