Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Data Center Customer Operations Technician IV in Dallas to deliver exceptional customer service and technical support in our data centers. You will handle complex requests, drive timely resolutions, and coordinate a wide range of operations activities with cross-functional teams.

This role requires technical proficiency in installations, cross-connects, and testing, plus a commitment to high-quality service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; rotating shifts including nights.
• Experience in data center operations or technical support is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Queue Management / Reporting tasks including reviewing work orders and meeting commitment times.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve customer tickets and ensure timely updates.
• Perform installations support and quality checks on equipment and cabling as required.
• Support cross-connect work and testing for layer 1–3 activities.
• Assist with training and provide guidance to junior team members as needed.
