Job summary

Equinix, Inc. in Dallas is seeking a Data Center Customer Operations Technician IV to join our data center team.

You will own complex customer requests, drive timely resolution, and ensure the delivery of critical infrastructure services while serving as a technical expert. You’ll troubleshoot, coordinate a wide range of customer operations activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and uphold a high level of service to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

Typically requires a high school diploma and proven years of equivalent work experience.
Willing to work a rotating shift, including nights.

Responsibilities

Queue Management / Reporting: manage work orders, support cross-functional teams, ensure accurate reporting, document activity.
Installations: support rack-and-stack tasks and read installation plans, assist with installation activities and capacity planning.
Cross-Connect: support cross-connect work, perform installations and tests.
Testing / Troubleshooting: assist in layer 1-3 testing and troubleshooting, escalate complex issues.
Stakeholder Partnership: monitor stock, support dispatch of alarms, back-up for security if needed.
Customer Management: ensure timely order execution and high level of service on-site interactions.
Projects: coordinate with vendors, contribute to QA on new deployments.
Training: complete all training and mentor new hires.
