Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Data Center Customer Operations Technician IV in Miami to deliver exceptional customer service and technical support within our data centers. You will own complex requests, drive timely resolution, and ensure delivery of critical infrastructure services.

As a technical expert, you will troubleshoot complex challenges, coordinate and execute installations, cross-connects, power services, and containment systems while mentoring peers and improving processes.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in data center operations, telecommunications, networking, or critical infrastructure environments.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Experience managing complex customer requests and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of structured cabling, cross-connects, power infrastructure, and data center best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and fulfill complex, time-sensitive customer requests with a focus on quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution of customer issues, incidents, and service requests.
• Execute and coordinate installations, de-installations, and modifications of cabinets & cages, cross-connects, power services, and cable containment systems.
• Deliver Smart Hands support and assist customers with equipment, connectivity, and infrastructure needs.
• Prioritize multiple requests and projects while maintaining service level commitments.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve operational and technical challenges.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements to operational procedures.
• Serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced team members.
• Lead or facilitate operational activities and support initiatives that improve customer experience and service delivery.
