Job summary

Responsibilities include coordinating tickets, staffing, KPI tracking, and implementing process improvements while ensuring safety and cost efficiency. Some travel between sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities or production facilities.
• 4+ years IT experience or bachelor's degree in a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators.
• Manage the performance of a diverse team of data center operation professionals across locations.
• Develop career paths for employees and update in internal tools.
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure staffing levels.
• Ensure day-to-day data center ops including queue management and 7/24 shift.
• Act as SME across all data center operations.
• Ensure operational KPIs and metrics are measured and met.
• Lead improvements in team processes, technology and automation.
• Manage Large Scale Events (outages) and act as call leader.
• Oversee workflows and throughput for data center operations.
• Document and oversee policies to meet best practices and SLAs.
• Maintain on-call schedule and coordinate absences/vacations.
