Job summary

Digital Realty is seeking a Manager Data Center Operations to oversee local data center operations across one or more properties. You will lead the operations, maintenance, testing, and provisioning of colocation, connectivity, and deployment services.

You will manage construction coordination, adherence to SOPs, change control, and vendor relationships while ensuring 24x7 uptime and adherence to customer SLAs. A senior engineer with strong leadership and budgeting skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

• 10 years related facility management experience in data center operations or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
• Experience in construction, commissioning, operation of mission critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee local data center operations and maintenance for one or more properties.
• Coordinate with construction resources to ensure designs meet standards and testing is completed.
• Manage provisioning of data center services including colocation, connectivity, and deployment.
• Lead implementation and compliance with SOPs, maintenance calendars, and change control.
