Job summary

Amazon is seeking an experienced Technology Manager to lead a data center operations team responsible for global infrastructure. You will mentor staff, sponsor projects, and devise strategies to optimize hardware, network, and operations across multiple sites.

As a people-first leader, you will oversee on-call rotations, drive KPI improvements, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable cloud capacity for AWS customers. Travel to sites will be required.

Responsibilities

• Operationally responsible for a Data Center and its teams.
• Prioritize tickets and manage staff performance across locations.
• Develop career paths and recruit/train data technicians.
• Ensure 7/24 shift coverage and hardware logistics.
• Lead large-scale outage events and drive KPI improvements.
• Oversee policies to meet SLAs and industry best practices.
• Manage on-call schedules and improve customer experience.
