Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Technology Manager to lead a data center operations team responsible for maintaining cloud infrastructure globally. You will mentor staff, sponsor projects, and develop strategies while guiding hardware and network diagnostics and on-site repairs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years IT experience or Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering/math or equivalent
• 2+ years of people management experience
• 2+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators
• Manage the performance of diverse data center operation teams across locations
• Develop Career Paths and update internal tools
• Recruit and train data technicians
• Ensure day-to-day data center operations including 7/24 shifts
• Serve as subject matter expert across data center operations
• Ensure KPIs and metrics are met
• Drive process improvements and automation
• Manage large-scale outages and act as call leader
• Improve workflows and throughput in data center operations
• Document policies and procedures to meet best practices and SLAs
• Maintain on-call schedule
