Qualifications

• 4+ years IT experience or a Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of operations and on-call support for data center facilities.
• Ability to travel to data center locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and assign trouble tickets to data center technicians and operators
• Manage the performance of diverse data center operation teams across locations
• Develop career paths and update internal tools
• Recruit and train data technicians to ensure staffing levels
• Ensure day-to-day data center operations and 7/24 shift management
• Act as SME across data center operations
• Ensure operational KPIs and metrics are met
• Lead improvements in processes, technology and automation
• Manage large-scale outages and act as the call leader
• Improve workflows and throughput for data center operations
• Document policies and procedures to meet best practices and SLAs
• Maintain on-call schedule coordinating absences
