Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Team Leader in Texas to oversee operations for critical facilities. You’ll supervise engineers, manage complex vendor networks, and ensure uptime and safety in HVAC, chillers, and life-safety systems.

The role requires deep data centre experience and the ability to lead multi‑discipline teams while aligning with CBRE standards and RISE values.

Qualifications

4-5 years of job-related experience with a diploma or equivalent.
Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong math skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee and inspect the work performed by engineering staff; ensure equipment is functional and client space is in prime condition.
Review monthly service summaries to address recurrent operational problems.
Formulate and implement a preventative maintenance program to meet rated life.
Inspect building systems (HVAC, fire alarms, plumbing) for design compliance and environmental targets.
Review work orders; estimate time/materials; maintain supplies and tools.
Assist team with complex repairs, emergencies, and preventive maintenance.
Lead by example; develop methods to achieve department objectives.
Coach others to expand knowledge across function areas.
Promote CBRE RISE values; influence senior stakeholders and cross-discipline teams.
