Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Team Leader to drive hands-on operations in a critical facilities environment. This role manages engineering teams, coordinates complex vendor networks, and ensures uptime and safety in our data center spaces.

You will guide maintenance programs, review service requests, and coach colleagues to excellence while upholding CBRE's RISE values. This is a day shift that rotates 12 hours, 3 days one week and 4 days the next.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of job-related experience with supervisory roles.
• Must meet physical requirements (lifting up to 50 lbs, stooping, standing, climbing).
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect the work performed by engineering staff to ensure full functionality and prime client space.
• Review monthly service request summaries to identify recurring operational problems.
• Formulate and implement a preventative maintenance program for building machinery and systems.
• Inspect building systems (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) to meet design specs and environmental conditions.
• Estimate time and materials, manage inventory, and order necessary materials for repairs.
• Assist team with complex repairs, emergencies, and preventive maintenance.
• Apply advanced knowledge to develop better methods for department objectives.
• Coach others to develop knowledge across multiple job disciplines.
