Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Team Lead/Supervisor to oversee preventative maintenance and complex repairs in a large Data Center operation. You will lead the team, coordinate daily activities, and ensure safety and reliability across critical systems.

The role requires technical training, appropriate licenses, and strong ability to manage performance, communicate with stakeholders, and solve complex issues. On-site duties may include weekend shifts and physical requirements.

Qualifications

• Technical training or apprenticeship completed.
• Licenses preferred (electrician or HVAC) and valid local licensure.
• Experience in staffing, coaching, and performance management.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities.
• Set work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Mentor and coach staff; track deadlines.
• Improve preventive maintenance programs and manuals.
• Coordinate maintenance with contractors and tenants.
• Oversee building systems: fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, electrical.
• Communicate with tenants, clients, owners, facility management, and vendors.
• Respond to emergencies and customer concerns.
• Model CBRE RISE values and collaborate to reach agreements.
• Apply discipline knowledge to team objectives.
• Identify and resolve day-to-day issues.
