Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Team Leader for a rotating night shift to supervise maintenance of HVAC, chillers, fire alarm systems, and related critical infrastructure.

You will manage engineering staff, coordinate vendors, and ensure uptime and safety in a high-demand data center environment. The role requires hands-on experience with critical facilities, strong leadership, and the ability to drive preventive maintenance programs while aligning with CBRE RISE values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or trade school diploma required.
• 4–5 years of job-related experience preferred, especially in supervision.
• Experience with building systems and preventative maintenance is a plus.
• Able to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect the work performed by engineering staff, ensuring completeness and function.
• Review monthly service summaries to identify recurring issues.
• Formulate and implement preventive maintenance programs for building systems.
• Inspect fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation within design specs.
• Estimate time/materials for repairs and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Coach team members and lead by example to meet CBRE standards.
• Communicate complex ideas effectively to cross-functional teams.
