Job summary

CBRE seeks a Data Center Team Leader to supervise maintenance and operations at a critical facility. The role focuses on ensuring uptime through hands-on management of HVAC, chillers, and related infrastructure within a data center environment.

You will lead engineering teams, coordinate with vendors, and drive preventive maintenance programs to meet strict performance standards. Prior supervisory experience is preferred for this challenging night-shift position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school with 4-5 years of related experience.
• Physical ability to perform duties including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Experience leading engineering or maintenance teams preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect work by engineering staff to ensure complete, functional equipment and prime client spaces.
• Review monthly service summaries to identify recurring operational issues.
• Implement preventative maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Inspect fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing for design compliance and environmental targets.
• Estimate time/materials for repairs and manage inventory.
• Assist team with complex repairs and emergencies as needed.
• Coach others and develop depth of knowledge across disciplines.
