Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Team Leader to direct night-shift operations in a high-availability data center environment. You will lead engineering teams, manage complex vendor networks, and ensure uptime and reliability for critical facilities.

The role demands 4–5 years of supervisory experience, strong MS Office skills, and advanced math abilities to support maintenance planning and cost control. Occasionallifting and physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook). Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset. Sophisticated math skills and ability to perform mildly complex calculations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect the work performed by engineering staff. Ensure that work is complete, equipment is fully functional, and client space is in prime working condition.
• Review monthly service request summaries to identify and address recurrent operational problems.
• Formulate and implement a preventative maintenance program to ensure building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life.
• Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation within design capabilities and environmental conditions prescribed by the client.
• Review assigned work orders. Estimate time and materials needed to complete repairs. Maintain an inventory of supplies and order necessary materials.
• Assist team with complex repairs, emergencies, and preventive maintenance.
• Apply advanced knowledge to seek and develop new, better methods for accomplishing both individual and department objectives.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values; persuade at senior levels to adopt new viewpoints.
