Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a National Accounts Director to lead the Data Centers vertical as part of the National Accounts team. The role sets strategy, drives growth, and guides profitability across executive-level relationships with data center operators and hyperscalers.

Location is remote with 50% travel; you will lead, coach, and scale the Data Center team, coordinate cross-functionally, and partner with marketing to elevate visibility and win strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical/engineering field.
• Proven track record leading high-performing sales teams.
• Experience developing executive-level relationships with C-suite leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Centers vertical market strategy and national accounts program.
• Develop and drive business plans to deliver incremental growth and profitability.
• Lead a team of Data Center experts and coach for pipeline growth.
• Coordinate with supply chain, manufacturing, service operations and product development.
• Collaborate with marketing on materials, events, and visibility.
• Plan for headcount, hiring, and career development with regular coaching.
