Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a MEP Project Manager to oversee planning, management and execution of data center construction projects. Responsibilities include estimating support, budgeting, subcontracts, permits, and schedule development with the project superintendent.

The PM drives cost control, quality and risk management to meet owner expectations. The role requires a civil engineering or related degree with several years of PM experience in data center construction, strong leadership,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum four years of project management experience within Data Center Construction.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Understanding of construction processes, codes and design requirements.
• Experience in estimating concepts, change orders and bidding processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team to develop and execute the project management plan (PMP).
• Prepare project budgets, unit cost reports and client pay requests.
• Manage procurement, subcontracts, permits, and project schedules.
• Monitor cost, safety, quality, and schedule performance; adjust as needed.
• Coordinate close-out procedures and documentation.
