Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, manage, and execute assigned construction projects, including mult-project responsibility. The role focuses on profitability, quality, safety, and owner satisfaction, with close collaboration across estimating, procurement, and field operations.

The PM will lead the project team, develop management plans, and oversee budgets, schedules, and subcontractor relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery for data center

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience in coordinating construction projects and managing budgets.
• Knowledge of commercial construction processes and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of estimates for the project.
• Prepares project budgets and unit cost reports.
• Leads the project team in preparing the project management plan (PMP).
• Negotiates and prepares subcontracts; optimizes project scope and milestones.
• Monitors safety, quality, and schedule performance with the project superintendent.
• Coordinates final close-out procedures and lien releases.
• Interacts with Estimating to provide cost information for the database.
