Job summary

The Project Manager at Layton Construction is responsible for the overall planning, management, and execution of work for assigned construction projects. You will lead the project team, prepare budgets and schedules, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a Data Center environment.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or construction management and at least four years of PM experience in Data Center Construction, plus a valid driver's license and strong

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field with equivalent experience.
• Minimum four years of project management experience within Data Center Construction.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes, estimates, and market rates.
• Understanding of contracts, change orders, and cost control.
• Familiarity with building codes and plan reading.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team to execute the PMP and project plan.
• Prepare budgets, schedules, and milestones with the project superintendent.
• Oversee procurement of materials and equipment within budget and schedule.
• Manage changes, owner and subcontractor change orders, and cost impact.
• Monitor safety, quality, and risk management plans.
• Coordinate closeout, as-built drawings, and project documentation.
