Job summary

Layton Construction seeks an MEP Project Manager to lead planning, management, and execution of assigned construction projects, including data center work. The role may manage multiple projects, aiming for profitability while meeting safety, quality, and owner expectations.

Responsibilities include directing the PMP, budgeting, scheduling, and coordinating with estimators, subcontractors, and owners to ensure milestones and regulatory compliance are achieved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• 4+ years PM experience in data center construction.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Understanding of commercial construction processes and codes.
• Ability to read plans, specs and manage project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team in developing and executing the project management plan (PMP).
• Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost reports.
• Coordinate with estimators, subcontracts, and clients to ensure project milestones.
• Monitor safety, quality, risk, and performance against the project plan.
• Manage change orders, payments, and close-out procedures.
