Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking an MEP Project Manager to oversee the planning, management, and execution of assigned construction projects, with a focus on data center builds. You will lead the project team in developing the PMP, manage budgets, schedules, and procurement, and coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and regulators to ensure quality, safety, and profitability.

A four-year PM background in data center construction and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum four years PM experience in Data Center Construction.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record.
• Knowledge of commercial construction processes and contractual language.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team to develop and execute the PMP.
• Prepare project budgets, unit cost reports, and pay requests.
• Negotiate subcontracts and change orders; manage cost/profit impact.
• Plan schedules with the project superintendent and monitor milestones.
• Coordinate procurement, permits, and close-out activities.
• Maintain project quality, safety, and risk management plans.
• Communicate with owners, vendors, and stakeholders.
