Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning, management, and execution of data center construction projects. You will maximize profitability, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with owners, subcontractors, and internal teams.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and several years of PM experience in construction, with strong cost control and scheduling skills. Excellent communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field.
• Minimum of four or more years project management experience within Data Center Construction.
• Understanding of estimating concepts and change orders.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction laws.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the preparation of estimates and project budgets.
• Leads the project team in preparing the PMP.
• Negotiates owner and subcontractor change orders and manages cost and profit impact.
• Develops monthly client pay requests and follows up on collection.
• Monitors cost, safety, quality, and schedule performance with the project superintendent.
• Coordinates all final close out procedures and project documents.
