Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to lead the planning, management, and execution of assigned construction projects, often handling multiple ones. This role emphasizes profitability, quality, safety, and owner satisfaction on high-profile projects in Utah.

The position requires a strong background in data center construction, budgeting, procurement, and coordination with subcontracts and regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of four or more years of project management experience within Data Center Construction.
• Understanding of estimating concepts, contracts and change orders.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead project team in developing PMP and project plans.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and procurement within the project scope.
• Coordinate with estimators, subs, and client to meet milestones and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
