Job summary

As a CBRE Data Center Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a Data Center operation. This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

You will assist with daily site inspections of mechanical and engineering systems, ensure safe environmental conditions, react to BMS alarms, and work with third-party vendors to meet all requirements.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or equivalent in a technical discipline with 1–2 years of related experience.
• Combination of experience and education may be considered in lieu of a diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily site inspections of Mechanical & Engineering systems and equipment.
• Ensure environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.
• React to BMS alarms and complete emergency repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Complete planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance on equipment.
• Check BMS for running/alarm conditions and respond to HVAC-related issues.
