Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs within a critical data center environment. You will inspect mechanical and engineering systems, monitor environmental conditions, and respond to BMS alarms to ensure uptime.

The role involves working with third-party vendors, following safety procedures, and documenting maintenance activities. Flexibility to work shifts and weekends is required for this position at CBRE facilities.

Qualifications

• Technical discipline training with an apprenticeship or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of job-related experience preferred.
• Ability to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on data center equipment.
• Monitor environmental conditions to ensure a safe work environment.
• Respond to Building Management System alarms and perform emergency repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with processes and regulations.
• Record and report maintenance activities and meter readings (UPS, PDU, utilities).
