Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs within a Data Center operation. This role is part of the Critical and Technical Services function, focusing on technical maintenance in critical client environments.

The technician will inspect and maintain mechanical and electrical systems, respond to BMS alarms, and coordinate with vendors to meet safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or technical training with 1-2 years related experience.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Proficient in basic math and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily site inspections of mechanical and engineering systems and equipment.
• Ensure environment is safe for operation.
• Respond to Building Management System alarms and perform emergency repairs.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and ensure compliance with processes and laws.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on equipment.
• Check BMS for HVAC conditions and respond to client issues.
