Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Data Center Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance inside a data center environment. You will support daily site inspections of mechanical and engineering systems and ensure safe environmental conditions.

The role involves responding to Building Management System alarms, working with third‑party vendors, and completing planned maintenance while following established safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Training in a technical discipline with apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Ability to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Ability to present information clearly to internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and engineering systems.
• Monitor Building Management System alarms and address HVAC issues.
• Coordinate with third‑party vendors and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Take meter readings from UPS, PDU, and utilities and document findings.
• Maintain thorough maintenance records with routine quality checks.
