Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is hiring a Data Center IT Infrastructure Technician to support client requests in our data center environments. You will troubleshoot server, network, and storage hardware, rack equipment, and manage cabling per standards.

Responsibilities include asset management, commissioning/decommissioning of hardware, cross connects, and on‑site support for incidents and tickets within SLA. Strong hardware and networking knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a complex high availability data center environment preferred.
• Knowledge of data center processes: power, cooling, redundancy.
• Ability to use AD, Office 365 and ticketing systems for operations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills in hardware.

Responsibilities

• Unbox, inventory, and install server, storage, and network devices into racks.
• Manage assets, perform inventory audits, and handle shipping/receiving.
• Coordinate technical tasks with internal groups to resolution.
• Install cabling per standards and label components.
• Troubleshoot enterprise hardware, replace DIMMs, drives, and PSUs.
• Perform commissioning/decommissioning of hardware.
• Install cross connects and work with Telco to troubleshoot circuits.
• Install data center infrastructure materials and manage grounding.
• Support help desk tasks and periodic corporate desktop support.
• Maintain communication via phone, email, or ticketing system.
