Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is hiring a Data Center IT Infrastructure Technician to support client requests inside our data centers. You will troubleshoot servers, network devices, cabling, and power connectivity, and you will rack and stack hardware, install PDUs, and maintain documentation.

You will collaborate with internal teams, coordinate tasks, and provide desktop support and services during incident calls. A valid driver’s license and on-site presence may be required in some locations.

Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience.
• CompTIA Network+ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unbox, inventory, and install server, storage, and network devices into client racks.
• Manage assets including inventory audits, receiving, and shipping equipment.
• Coordinate technical tasks with internal groups and manage requests to resolution.
• Install cabling per standards and label per requirements.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose enterprise hardware.
• Replace DIMMs, drives, power supplies, and other components.
• Commission and decommission hardware.
• Install cross connects and work with Telco carriers to troubleshoot circuits.
• Handle CAT5E/CAT6 and fiber patch cables.
• Maintain data center infrastructure materials and grounding.
• Maintain power distribution units in client enclosures.
• Communicate status clearly in ticketing system and calls.
• Adhere to Change Control processes.
• Provide corporate desktop support as needed.
• Support incident calls and critical incidents management.
• Process tickets within SLA.
