Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers is seeking a Data Center IT Infrastructure Technician to support client requests within their space in NTT data centers. You will handle inquiries from inception to resolution via tickets, troubleshoot server, network, and cabling issues, and assist with racking, stacking, and documentation.

The role requires night shifts (Mon-Fri, 10:30pm–7:30am) and collaboration with internal teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-availability data center environment preferred.
• Knowledge of data center power, cooling, and redundancy.
• Willingness to work night shifts and weekend on-call as required.

Responsibilities

• Unbox, inventory, and install client hardware into racks.
• Manage assets including inventory audits and shipping.
• Coordinate tasks with internal groups and resolve requests.
• Install and organize cabling per standards with labeling.
• Troubleshoot enterprise-level hardware issues.
• Replace DIMMs, drives, power supplies in devices.
• Assist with commissioning/decommissioning of hardware.
• Install cross connects and work with Telco carriers.
• Perform data center cabling and grounding tasks as needed.
• Provide desktop support and participate in ticketing processes.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, or tickets.
• Support third-party vendor activities and adhere to SLA.
